This post will basically have general information and useful tips for those who are planning on attending the Topp Dogg showcase that will be held here in Miami. If I find any fan projects, I will add information for that here as well. This post will be continuously updated up until the day of the showcase. Please feel free to message or tweet me with any questions or tips.
Most importantly, Jazzy Group is the management company in charge of this tour. I am in no way working or affiliated with anyone on this tour. Please contact Jazzy if you need something. I am just a fan spreading kpop love ^^
On October 25, 2014 Jazzy Group announced Miami as the second city in the Topp Dogg US tour.

Now for parking and things to do….
PARKING AND DIRECTIONS
There is no free parking in Miami Beach unfortunately. There are metered lots, street parking, and parking garages.
There is a parking garage across the street from the Fillmore called the Lincoln Road Mall Garage. It is the cheapest, it has security cameras, and it is huge.
The garage is located on 17th street and Convention Center Dr. The picture below with the yellow arrows shows the view in front of the garage. The image below with the red and white arrows shows you how close the Fillmore is from the garage.
If you’re driving East on 17th Ave, you’ll have no trouble turning right to enter the garage at the main entrance. However, if you’re driving West on 17th Ave, you can’t make a left turn on Convention Center Dr. to enter the garage. Don’t worry, there is another entrance in the back. Just turn left on Meridian Ct. The entrance will be on your left (Lincoln Ln and Meridian)
If you decide to do meter parking instead, remember, they do not provide change back. The rate per hour starts at $1.75 and up. It is easy to use, just follow the prompts. It will ask for your parking zone number. It can be found on the meter you’re using. I highly advise you put MORE than enough so you can enjoy your time at the showcase without worrying about your car. Miami Beach Street Parking Patrol is very thorough when it comes to giving out tickets and booting your car.
Below, you’ll see pictures on how the venue looks like from the street. The Fillmore is on Washington Ave (white arrow) and 17th Ave (red arrow). To get to Lincoln Road from the venue, you’ll have to walk down Washington Ave. As the black arrow indicates, walk South and you’ll arrive on Lincoln Road in less than five minutes.
You will arrive at this sign. The Lincoln Road is separated by blocks. As you walk West, the numbers will go up. For example, there is a Starbucks on 601 Lincoln Road. Walk West and when you reach the 600 block, you’ll find it here 🙂
Lincoln Road is basically an outdoor mall. You can not drive down this road.
A lot of kpop fans are young and can’t wander off too far. There may be fans who won’t have their own personal transportation. Some fans may be on a time constraint. Basically, I’ll only be mentioning conveniently close locations or this post will turn into a Miami Beach directory lol. You can always Google search to see what else is out there. If you’re over 21 and would like me to recommend some adult orientated places (bars, clubs, restaurants, etc) feel free to ask here or mention me on Twitter 🙂
There are so many restaurants. Here are a few recommended places to eat…
1) Shake Shack
West Coast have their In-N-Out burgers, East Coast have Shake Shack! For now, there are only a few locations throughout the coast. So I highly recommend taking the opportunity to try it!
Want to know how big of a deal Shake Shack is? Check this out.
1111 Lincoln Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Sun – Thurs 11:30am – 11pm, Fri – Sat 11:30am – 12am
2) Five Guys
They’re also gaining a big reputation here on the East Coast. Personally, I like it more than Shake Shack lol.
1500 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
Cheap but delicious food. Enough said!
551 Lincoln Rd, Miami Beach, FL 33139
4) Cold Stone
This is my favorite ice cream parlor. They have shakes, smoothies….you can even create your own creation!
1631 Alton Road, Miami Beach, FL 33139 (on Alton Road and Lincoln)
And the number one place I recommend….Sriracha House! Authentic bubble tea and milk tea. Fresh noodles. Shaved snow. I love it. Click here to read my post about this restaurant.
1502 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
I have friends who are picky eaters or nervous about trying new things. There is a McDonald’s (storefront with free wi-fi and a walk by) and a Subway (open 24 hours) if you simply want to eat something you’re used to.
1614 Washington Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139
There are several Starbucks locations along Lincoln Road:
1120 Lincoln Road Miami Beach, FL 33139
Espanola Way. A popular tourist attraction in South Beach. It’s a village between 14th street and 15th street on Washington Ave. Italian and Spanish cuisine, cute shops, music, and more. It’s especially beautiful at night!
You can rent a bike and ride along the beach!
Lincoln Road is pedestrian friendly. No riding down that road between 9am – 2am. But you may ride anywhere else.
There is a park literally across the street from the venue. Before the Block B showcase, My friend and I ordered food from a local restaurant and had it delivered to us there. It was a lovely picnic. You can bring a blanket with you and take a nap.
And of course, you can go for a swim. The beach is across the street from Ocean Drive. Two streets east of Washington Ave.
There are public restrooms along Ocean Drive as well.
